6.27.11 Endless pain is the price of admission.

6.25.11 Happy new plant.

6.24.11 Finally a diagnosis on the eyes- 2 infections, one under both lids and another in a gland (non-infectious) and curable with 2-4 weeks of pain in the ass treatments. All is well.

Sean F. shot this nice pic with his iPhone:

6.23.11 What a storm hit Whiting yesterday. One dead and trees down everywhere but the garden survived the golf ball sized hail with only holes in the zucchini leaves. A huge tree just missed the truck when it toppled. No pics because the wind was blowing rain onto these Toopine electronics and I was trying to get the windows down. Looks like they still work though..

6.20.11 Looking forward to seeing my family and I do mean seeing as my eyes slowly improve. Always something coming at you in this wacky world. Longest day tomorrow.

6.18.11 Garden today. Time for some West Coast thinking ala Ove:

A wonderful sculptor named Callie
Said "I feel very sorry for Sally.
Her art was amazing.
With talent a-blazing,
She followed her dream to an alley."

Fumes from the bathtub paint might be influencing my mental sharpness.
_

We EARN our way? Not necessarily.
There's NO rule for fame, some say, warily.
In spite of the dragnet,
The spotlight's a magnet.
It's rare that we fade from it merrily.
_

Hockey is Romans with sticks.
We ALL need some crude primal fix.
Toss them a Ding-Dong.
I much prefer ping-pong.
No, make that the Lakers or Nicks.

Disconnected.

6.17.11 If one lives long enough they will see every person they ever loved "..shufflel'd off this mortal coil". Lesson: keep forming new relationships and loves despite decrepitude, dilapidation, infirmity and general feebleness. It's love and live or shuffle off.

6.16.11 Connected.

6.15.11 Wayne would sit at my table and make me laugh. T 192:

Poor Wayne. How did you get to that place?

6.14.11 Good friend Wayne C. made some movies with TP and this ironic, spooky pic of him popped up in a search of our data base (text was not added). He, and his girlfriend hung themselves this week. We are still in shock. In better times making Animate with Tommy Jeffries.

6.13.11 Been internet friends with Charlie Mars (the French artist, not the American singer) Mars at Vimeo for years. He never disappoints and always surprises. French as Chabichou du Poitou (a goat cheese) and just as tasty (as if I'd know).

His latest piece has serious acting. Called Resistenz – « Krull »

............check it out Go full screen if you can.

What a bore you are, stay in your bushes. Hay day nailed eyeballs, it was thick-as-soup dusty in the loft, and it managed to scratch both corneas to near blindness (well, what a drama queen, but it hurt). 5 days of misery and migraine (well, a small pain in the gulliver for sure). Half back to normal. This is what it feels like:

6.8.11 Here comes the hot.

6.7.11 Hay day at Dancing Tree. 280 bales made some sore arms.

6.6.11 This lizard will be visiting soon, they call it Olive. The iguana is staying in Vermont. (timing, timing) And watch out for this guy, called Metro, specializes in stone weapons.

This is the maniac they are visiting. BD Events

6.4.11 Found this guy taking a rest:

6.3.11 Hackers got into the church sites again. Think it's all fixed but webmaster is one hat sometimes hard to squeeze one's head into. Wear it too long and you can't take it off.

Table Series makes more sense. This is Table 6.3.11 (no. 191)

O. V. Michaelsen has contributed almost uncountable pieces to the Toopine endeavor but his Limerick site mentions he has written 800 in last few years and many have been published here.

My enemies loved what they've tasted.
I know, by and by,
They'll eat crow, humble pie
And the MAIN course, their words. Nothing wasted.

Way back when he burned with desire,
He played with his fingers on fire.
Refining his act
Made him slick--too shellacked.
When he froze, then he chose to retire.

I always write one verse a day, usually two, often three, sometimes four, but seldom five.

Here's today's lunch hour limerick.

If ever confronted by Pete,
I hope you will quickly retreat.
He'll suffer neglect
If he pays you respect
And you fail to provide a receipt.

Been looking at old head paintings and doing some new ones.

6.2.11 It's June again. What shall we do this month

If your dog relieving himself could be found from space, you'd think that between Google Earth and night vision drones, a Bigfoot or two would be detected.
