I wrote that limerick just before the Okinawa and Chile tragedies. Those were mighty stirring. Sheesh.
here we go again with another winter snow storm. My luck ,have to pick up Joan Friday 6PM . Philadelphia may get 1 foot of snow. If her flight from Houston, Tx is not cancelled altogether, will no doubt be delayed. Looking like a night time run to Philly to pick her up. Joan had surgery on her foot, so must pick up curbside at baggage claims. I always get confused with airport parking instructions. Can't wait for this trip!
Saw the "blizzard" film and suddenly felt cozy and warm from the confines of my Florida apartment where I thought mistakenly there was a bit of a chill here.
